Narrative | A mechanic was removing an equalizer pin on a D9 dozer. A small hand punch was used to finish tapping out the pin. When the pin cleared, the right track dropped and equalizer bar on the left lifted up pinching the mechanic's left middle finger between the punch and the side frame bore. The employee's finger received a broken bone and laceration resulting in 9 stitches. |
