Complaint What Happened |
I opened an account on Bitstamp in XXXX and submitted my drivers license and a selfie, as requested by Bitstamp in order to transact and withdraw or transfer assets. Bitstamp has become unresponsive to my requests for attention to the matter, and has now XXXX trading and deposit/withdrawal functionality. i have requested several times that Bitstamp allow me to close my account, and transfer assets elsewhere, given their unresponsiveness. Further, the disabling of trading has subjected my account to enormous market risk. And i am facing hardship by not being able to withdraw my own funds. Finally, on more than one occasion, I have offered to provide additional identification information, but Bitstamp remains unresponsive. I am concerned that Bitstamp may be engaging in fraudulent activity, given their actions pertaining to my account, and lack of response.
