Complaint What Happened |
I was turned over to a collection company for the debt I incurred with XXXX XXXX, the collections service was XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2019 I took a settlement amount to pay off my debt and paid the first payment of XXXX. There were to be made two additional payments of the same amount on the first of XXXX and then first of XXXX and with drawn automatically. A week after I made the payment, I began receiving emails for the full balance even though I already took the settlement and made a payment, they were not even acknowledging the payment I made and demanding full balance. I called and spoke with someone and they said it was fixed however it was not. I continued to get demand payment emails and they would not fix the problem. I waited to see of the payments would come out and they did not, only the first payment drafted and then nothing. They will not post the payment I made or honor the debt settlement. They lied to get a payment out of me and then they are not even crediting my account for the payment.
