29 CFR 1910.305(j)(1)(i): Fixtures, lampholders, lamps, rosettes, and receptacles located within 8 feet of the floor had live parts exposed to employee contact: (a) Heritage Assisted Living- Memory Care Laundry Room: On or about May 21, 2019 and at times prior: Unguarded/ Uncovered glass florescent light bulbs were located 7 feet 10 inches from the floor. (b) Heritage Assisted Living- Utility Basement: On or about May 21, 2019 and at times prior: Unguarded/ Uncovered glass florescent light bulbs were located approximately 74.5 inches from the floor over the work bench, 81 inches from the floor over the sink area, and 79.5 inches from the floor throughout the rest of the area. Glass florescent light bulbs were not guarded or covered to prevent accidental breakage or contact. This exposes employees to possible broken glass and electrical hazards. |
