29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Jobsite: On August 27, 2020, and at times prior thereto, employee performed roofing activities on a 6 in 12 pitched roof without a personal fall protection system in place. This exposed the employee to a 28 foot fall hazard from peak to ground below. Note: Abatement certification and Documentation is required for this item. OCL Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1410593, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on July 11, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2108 N Greenville Ave, Kuna, ID 83634. |

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) Jobsite: On August 27, 2020 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a 28 foot fall hazard from peak to ground while performing roofing activities on a 6 in 12 pitched roof. The employees did not recognize or acknowledge the hazard and take actions to correct or minimize their exposure. Note: Abatement certification and Documentation is required for this item.
