29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(i): A snaphook not of the locking type was engaged (i) directly to webbing, rope or wire rope; (a) Hawthorne Apartments Job Site: On or about July 24, 2013 and at times prior thereto, an employee engaged in framing activities had looped a rope around a support to use for fall protection and in doing so used the snaphook to attached the rope to itself around the beam which could expose the hook to side pressure and/or failure in the event of a fall.
