29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): a) Building 1: On June 6, 2023, and at times prior, the controlling employer, Stack Construction did not have an effective system in place to identify and correct hazards to which their subcontractor's employees were exposed. Hazards include a 19-foot fall to the ground below when working near open sided floors and unprotected sides or edges without fall protection. b) Building 1: On June 6, 2023, and at times prior, the controlling employer, Stack Construction did not have an effective system in place to identify and correct hazards to which their subcontractor's employees were exposed. Hazards include employees performing roofing activities on a 4 in 12 pitch roof approximately 37 feet at the peak without proper usage of fall protection equipment. Stack Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1634904, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 1/17/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2110 Latitude Circle, Twin Falls, ID, 83301. |
