29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(xv): Cross bracing used in place of a mid rail was unacceptable because the crossing point of two braces was not between 20 inches (0.5 m) and 30 inches ((0.8 M) above the work platform or as a top rail crossing point of two braces were not between 38 inches (0.97 m) and 48 inches (1.3 m) above the work platform. (a) 1812 N. Lakewood Dr.: On or about May 30, 2018 and at times prior, at approximately 30 ft. employees were working on a scaffold with sections that did not have a top rail. The 30 inch cross member met the height of a mid-rail, but it did not have a top rail. (b) 1812 N. Lakewood Dr.: On or about May 30, 2018 and at times prior, at approximately 30 ft. employees were working on a scaffold with sections that did not have a mid rail.
