To the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau : I am filing a complaint against Westlake Portfolio Management XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding an alleged debt that I believe is invalid and potentially related to a scam.
Key points of my complaint : 1. The debt is associated with a program that I now believe was fraudulent, a service from a company called XXXX XXXX, which a group of people are currently organizing a class action against.
XXXX. I have previously disputed this debt, but Westlake Portfolio Management XXXX XXXX XXXX claims to have verified it without providing adequate documentation.
XXXX. The company has not provided me with a copy of the original loan agreement or detailed account statements.
XXXX. They have locked me out of my online account, preventing me from accessing loan details.
XXXX. The company has been contacting me 5-6 times daily via phone and email, which may constitute harassment under the FDCPA.
XXXX. The company has contacted me under XXXX names throughout this experience, including " Covered Care, '' " XXXX XXXX, '' and " Westlake Portfolio Management. '' This indicates a lack of transparency.
I am requesting that the CFPB : XXXX. Investigate the validity of this debt associated with fraud and the practices of Westlake Portfolio Management XXXX XXXX XXXX.
XXXX. Ensure that the company provides full documentation of the alleged debt.
XXXX Review their debt collection practices for compliance with the FDCPA.
XXXX. Assist in resolving this dispute and protecting my consumer rights.

Im 8 days late with my car payment due to my employer has decided to just keep my paycheck. Since then I have spoke to Westlake Financial 4 times, they called my twice within a half hour and have called me 21 times total - in 8 days. LOL

Hello my name is XXXX XXXX with a false mark on mine and my sons credit report! In XX/XX/XXXX, I co-signed for a truck loan ( XXXX XXXX XXXX low miles, very clean for {$11000.00} at 19 % interest, for 48 months, at XXXX a month ). He paid on it for a year and he unfortunately got XXXX and it disabled hi for continuing paying Westlake Financial Services Inc . He tried to work with them and they never let me know and they came and repossessed it. They sold it at auction and sent me a paper, not a bill of sale. There was know information about the sale - how much, where, when and who. the have there own auction company through Westlake. They indicated it sold for {$1100.00} but hard to believe with out proof that we still owe {$11000.00}. This seems to be very bad and fraudulent business habits. Can you please look this over seems to be illegal? Thanks!

After moving states I started having issues with them losing my current information and when I want to make a payment early or the due date it will only give me error codes, I have been having these issues for 2 years and I have to wait till its late and receive a call from them. Then I have late fees and it hits my credit it for being late, even tho I try to make it on time. I spoke to a supervisor months ago and was laughed at and told that their side has different information and have to pay with card with additional fees or they will take the car. They never help and have complain multiple times to them and its the exact same every month. I finally called around for help and found you guys. I really need help because the moment I got the car I been pushed back into a corner with the dealer ship and west lake. I am unable to refinance it due to the late payments.
