| Citation text line | 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b): a) East side of structure, southeast wing: On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, several employees were walking on/working from the top of the exterior wall while assisting to set roof trusses. b) West side of structure, southeast wing: On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, several employees were walking on/working from the top of the exterior wall while assisting to set roof trusses. c) East side of structure, south side of west wing; On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, an employee was running up and walking back down the partially sheathed sloped roof to grap onto and guide roof trusses into place on top of the exterior walls. d) West side of structure, south side of west wing; On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, an employee framing a secondary gable was walking/working in close proximity to the roof edge. e) West side to middle of structure, south side of west wing; On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, an employee was walking back and forth across the sheathed roof area. Only one short section of the roof area was provdied with a slide guard. f) West side of structure, north side of west wing; On or about 3/1/11 and at times prior thereto, an employee was walking long and standing at the immediate roof edge where a means of fall protection was not provided.
