Complaint What Happened I received a letter from North Idaho Credit dated XX/XX/2019, advising me that they were attempting to collect a debt. I sent them a certified letter that one XXXX XXXX signed for on XX/XX/2019, responding that I was disputing the debt, And that I was expecting no further action on their part including making any reports to the credit bureaus. I further explained in my letter that I considered the matter closed and that the were not to contact me unless they were terminating their collection efforts, or that they were taking very specific actions allowed under the FDCPA. I have heard nothing from this group since that time. Today I was doing a routine review of my credit report and I have found an entry from North Idaho Credit. The account in question has been paid in full to the original creditor. The resolution I seek is to have this negative mark removed immediately and an apology issued by North Idaho Credit.
