29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; this evaluation did not include a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazard(s) and an identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form. a) On or about February 11, 2015 or prior thereto: The employer did not estimate employee exposure to airborne contaminants in welding fume while working on stainless steel. Airborne contaminants from the welding operation included Manganese, Iron Oxide and Chromium. OSHA Sampling on February 24, 2015 indicated employee exposure was below Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL's). Abatement was completed for this item. |
